Committed to recycling as much as possible

At Jackson + Dix Roofing, we are committed to reducing our impact on the planet as much as possible. On average, the roofing industry sends 12 million tons of asphalt shingles to landfills every year. We recognise that it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to create a more sustainable business model. We are dedicated to protecting our local community and supporting their efforts for effective waste disposal. This is why we focus on delivering unused asphalt shingles, corrugated steel and other recyclable materials to local waste centres during both residential and commercial projects.

On any given job, Jackson + Dix Roofing make a conscious effort to recycle materials including:

  • Asphalt – into construction materials including subbases for motorways and roads.
  • Metal – into all manner of metal products, including plumbing and new roofing materials.
  • Hardcore – into useable tiles or other construction materials.
  • Insulation – into materials for other roofing projects.
  • Plastics – into all manner of plastic products, including new roofing materials.

Where possible, we aim to recycle as much waste as possible from each construction and demolition project as possible. To learn more about our waste reduction efforts, get in contact with the team here today.
